Big Boy... eating sandwiches!
Getting into more trouble every single day...
Ben has been getting better at pulling up to a stand. It should not be too long before he moves to the next milestone!
Unfortunately, he still is fascinated by electronics - particularly laptops.

I opened his set of Duplo Legos early - he seems to like them. More tossing and banging than Lego construction, but that should change in time.

Ben is getting faster and faster - we often will look the other and he's already traveled a few feet!

Last weekend, we ate at Rather Sweet in Fredericksburg. I had a great BLAT (Bacon Lettuce Avocado Tomato) sandwich, and a cinnamon chocolate cake - both of which I hope to replicate in the future (the cake will be pretty easy to replicate, since I have the cookbook now!).
Ben enjoyed some ice water first.

Then, he tried a lime - he didn't know how to react!

Finally, he had some watermelon - it was definitely his favorite!

After we finished our lunch, I went to get Ben's sippy cup and we played tug of war!

After that, we brought him to a baby shower, where he met one of his younger relatives, Izzy. Here he is with Izzy and Grace, the other two great-grandchildren on Josh's maternal side!

He tried to stand and move everywhere!

Here Benjamin is with his great-Oma Ruby and his Aunt Bethany!

Ben often will pose just for the camera.

Sometimes he even tries to be the center of attention!

But he does like playing with other babies...

and doggies too!

But all of that work makes for one tired baby!

Ben tried his first crackers that weekend.

Ben loves swinging with Aunt Raechel!

Ben's Oma Glenda and Opa Dean have been gracious enough to tolerate our doggies (they can be loud and tend to follow you everywhere) while our house is being sold. We had not seen the dogs in over a month. Perry had been busy making friends on the other side of the backyard fence!

Early in the morning, Ben was enjoying time with Opa Dean. Those pajamas won't fit much longer!

Ben continues to like books.

He also likes crayons... we just have to get past the "wanting to eat them" part.

Who looks like daddy? Benjamin knows - it's him!
