15 Weeks - Starting to get ready for baby!
Now that we're into the second trimester, the fatigue is finally starting to wane. Hopefully other symptoms will continue to lessen so that the thought of my cookbooks and kitchen become more tempting than nauseating!
On Friday, we had another pre-natal check-up. Since the baby is growing and moving, I was able to hear the heartbeat that I had seen at the ultrasound. Supposedly in the next few weeks I'll start growing, but I'm already starting to shop for (and wear) maternity clothing. My normal clothes (at least jeans, pants and skirts) are definitely getting too small, as you can see below:
Over Josh's Spring Break, my mother-in-law, sister-in-law and brother-in-law all came down to help him paint multiple rooms in the house. Among the rooms was the future nursery! We still have to install a chair rail on each side of the yellow border, and will put a Classic Pooh wallpaper border in the center of the yellow. Josh will do that in August - since he finishes the BAR exam on 31 July. (August is home improvement month.)
Josh then also plans on spending time with his fix-up car when he's not at work. On April Fools, my dad called and offered him his early 80s BMW 3-series convertible. Josh would have been shocked regardless, but the emotions were amplified since it was April Fools Day! He's excited and can't wait until August.
Rachael, one of my sisters-in-law, gave us our first piece of baby clothing! Once we find out the gender (which should be in mid-May), Josh will need to keep me away from any and all baby stores!

Okay, so I see that anonymous people still can't post, but for some reason, it has logged me in as Alicia, so I am in luck! Yay! Hope all is well--nothing much to this message, I just know comments on blogs are fun to get=).
