A few hours in the Big Apple

We arrived in NYC mid-day, and we had a lot to do in a short amount of time. It took much longer than expected for us to drive to the Midtown area, but we were fortunate enough to find a free parking spot at 2nd and 42nd.

We headed out - and Ben, once again, was being so well behaved!

After we got to Rockefeller Center, we shopped at H&M. Then, we went to Magnolia Bakery. Josh got some cheesecake and I got a chocolate chip cookie to eat later, along with a chocolate cupcake for right then.

It was a PERFECT day outside. We walked to the MoMA and first explored outside.

We explored inside, but before we were done, Ben got cranky. Just means we have something to do the next time we're in NYC.

Josh and I are both fans of Top Chef. We decided that an appropriate stop for lunch (especially with a baby and on a perfect day) would be wichCraft at Bryant Park. Josh had a Reuben-like sandwich, and I had one with grilled cheese, ham and pears. It was great.

We headed back to the car.

But first, we stopped by the New York Public Library.

We also walked through Grand Central Terminal.

Then, we drove back to New Jersey.
