This year, Josh got me Mark Bittman's How to Cook Everything cookbook. The amount of content is overwhelming - I've been looking through it since Christmas Eve!
The first dish I tried was his Pasta with Mushrooms recipe. Given my recent obsession with mushrooms, I liked it - very simple and hearty. Josh thought it needed something more. It was somewhat similar to Spicy Baked Macaroni I made last year.
