Since HEB was out of mushrooms the other day, Josh picked up the groceries for his favorite meal, a variation on Giada de Laurentiis' Fusilli with Sausage, Artichokes, and Sun-Dried Tomatoes. The primary difference is that we use lean ground turkey.
This time, however, the sun-dried tomato jar was moldy so we had to improvise. Tomato sauce substituted for the sun-dried tomatoes. Next time (if this happens again), we'll use tomato paste. Given the setback, it was still great!
With dinner, we had a New Zealand wine - Nobilo Regional Collection: Marlborough Sauvingnon Blanc 2007. It was a good white wine (especially considering it was only about $10!) - Josh finished the bottle!
