Ben's Tenth Month

Ben has always liked books - especially when he can grab them, throw them and now turn the pages (much more precisely than he did in the past).



He loves story time with Daddy.



Unfortunately when Ben got sick, he started wheezing and we had to go to Texas Children's Hospital. Needless to say, he did not like the breathing treatments or the oxygen mask very much... at all. Once he was done with those treatments and just under observation, he was much happier. There was still a device connected to his big toe monitoring the oxygen in his blood for a little while. It had a red light and was the Rudolph the Reindeer's nose! Ben was always trying to take it off, kind of how he reacts with most shoes...



He did also get some rest and was on his way to recovery when we left the hospital.





We kept an eye on him, and luckily he seemed back to normal for the 4th of July holiday.
