Josh's First Father's Day

Yes, it is August now, and I'm posting about Father's Day.

It's been a crazy past few weeks.

Ben was sick for a few weeks and even admitted to the hospital for a couple days. We had holidays, visits, house hunting and now our house on the market. Oh yeah, and my laptop died at least a few times.

Anyway, back to the topic at hand.

We didn't really do anything for Mother's Day but wanted to do some beyond our normal routine for Father's Day. Josh wanted to see the Terra Cotta Warriors exhibit at the Houston Museum of Natural Science, so we bought tickets and went. Benjamin was pretty good, as long as he was held, as we walked through the exhibit. The detail on the warriors was amazing. The only thing we didn't liked about the exhibit was its brevity - we wanted to see more!

So we walked around a bit more and looked at the Diamonds exhibit that was also at the museum.

We then had a nice meal at home - Josh's favorite pasta. A quiet and nice Father's Day... I am thinking that next year, with a toddler, it will be a bit different!
