Chicken Sausage and Mushroom Pizza


The other day, I made a Chicken Sausage and Mushroom Pizza that Josh really liked.

Ingredients
  • Pillsbury Thin Crust Pizza Dough
  • Tomato Sauce, approx. 1 cup (I made my own)
  • Chicken Sausage, 4 links (The type we purchased had cheese and seasonings in it)
  • Dried Mushrooms, 1 cup
Instructions
  1. Re-hydrate the mushrooms.
  2. Preheat the oven for the pizza dough per package instructions.
  3. Cook and drain the sausage.
  4. Chop the mushrooms and sausage into slightly smaller pieces.
  5. Rollout the crust onto a baking sheet. I use cornmeal on each side of the crust, but that's just a personal preference.
  6. Top with tomato sauce, some cheese, sausage and mushrooms. Add cheese and bake per pizza crust package instructions.
