The other day, I made a Chicken Sausage and Mushroom Pizza that Josh really liked.
Ingredients
- Pillsbury Thin Crust Pizza Dough
- Tomato Sauce, approx. 1 cup (I made my own)
- Chicken Sausage, 4 links (The type we purchased had cheese and seasonings in it)
- Dried Mushrooms, 1 cup
- Re-hydrate the mushrooms.
- Preheat the oven for the pizza dough per package instructions.
- Cook and drain the sausage.
- Chop the mushrooms and sausage into slightly smaller pieces.
- Rollout the crust onto a baking sheet. I use cornmeal on each side of the crust, but that's just a personal preference.
- Top with tomato sauce, some cheese, sausage and mushrooms. Add cheese and bake per pizza crust package instructions.
